A rich long history of 74 years, full of decorated organizations and players- NBA has seen it all. During this period, we have witnessed that many greats came, conquered and left.

But who was able to stamp his authority above the rest? Yes, we’re talking about the best NBA players of all time

In 1996 National Basketball Association celebrated it’s 50th anniversary. To honor the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of NBA, they chose 50 greatest players of the game’s history.

A panel of former players and coaches, current and former general managers and media members selected them. They were later assembled in Gund Arena Cleveland, during the half time ceremony of the 1997 All-Star game.

It remains as one of the most iconic tributes we’ve seen in sports history. No doubt these players form a surreal collection of talent representing past and present.

Yeah, those legends were greeted with tremendous applause from the crowd. But numbers, lists are always controversial, aren’t they?

However, there were many who believed that some deserving NBA players didn’t make the cut. Some other guys would have been right at the bottom of the list.

Once Dwyane Wade made a comment about LeBron James that he will never be able to surpass Michael Jordan as the NBA’s greatest player of all time. We can debate about this all day long.

All these make me thinking why not go and update the list since a number of great players have come along in the recent years. It is a no brainer that every basketball fan loves to argue about who ranks where among the game’s very best

A bit tricky to rank those legendary players. Infact not an easy task to make a list of best players in NBA history given the fact that, these iconic players played basketball in different eras with different technologies and rules.

A list is a matter of perspective and opinions from critics. It is never too late to go back and do some adjusting with list of greatest NBA players of all time. Actually, this is just about the perfect time for new players to consider as we have just started the 2019-20 NBA season.

Because he is the chosen one and will likely to be in that place for years to come. Still if you don’t know, probably it’s time to leave the earth. I will be much happier if I can manage an Oscar award for you!
